Who is bobbi kahn?

I am. I’m Barb Peck Mason. In 2008 I began designing my own line of jewelry. My designs are funky, chunky and fabulously chic necklaces, bracelets and earrings created with beads sourced from all over the world. They are meticulously united to form a beautiful balance of color, texture and dimension that make whoever wears it look and feel terrific. Each piece is one of a kind and finished with clasps that start conversations.

Fashionable and enormously versatile, a piece of bobbi kahn design jewelry looks amazing when worn with jeans or a gown, at work or for play, on tall women and short, rounder women and lean ladies. Regardless of when you wear them or what your body type is, these are not pieces for the feint of heart! When you wear a bobbi kahn design item, be prepared to be noticed. My career as a jewelry designer started innocently enough, first with the repair of a broken bracelet, then repurposing some of my late mother’s costume jewelry. Friends and perfect strangers began asking about the jewelry I wore. When I said I designed it, they asked if I sold my work. Poof! Serendipity stuck and bobbi kahn design was born.

So who is bobbi kahn? As a young girl, I thought I sang as well as Cher and I wanted to be the lead singer in a rock band. My stage name would be Bobbi Kahn. (more on this when we meet in person) Time passed and it became clear to me that I did not have a voice like Cher (or even Sonny for that matter!) and I was never going to sing anywhere but the shower. Thus, bobbi kahn became the name of my jewelry business.

Don’t toss out anything! Consignment and custom designs are a great way to repurpose jewelry you no longer wear or like. Some hostesses like a donation made to charity, some like jewelry, some just like a check for bringing folks together and making some money. Making the hostess happy is what I like, so I’m content with any arrangement!

Do you prefer a private shopping experience? Then come on over to my home and studio! There we can relax with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and try things on. Bring hard to match outfits and we’ll find the perfect piece. If the perfect piece isn’t there, I also do custom designs.
